How to Remove ShortCut Viruses using CMD without Antiviruses.

Shortcut viruses are really pain to ash .This viruses are to much common in college computers , library , Cafe  etc places .Whenever we plug our pen drives to public computers then our pendrives get infected with these shortcut viruses and we all unable to open our files in our computer because if we do so this viruses will migrate to our computer to . Now Question comes ..

How to know that our pendrive is infected by Shorcut Viruses .

When we open our pendrives and it shows icon like this as shown below then our pendrive in infected with  shortcut virus .

Ways to Remove Shortcut viruses from pendrive .

I.) Open Command Prompt by typing CMD to Run window .

II.) Go to your pen drive directory.

III.) Then type this command – “ del *.lnk ” (without quotes) and hit enter.

IV.) Then you have to type (without double quotes) ” attrib -h -r -s /s /d e:\*.* ” & press enter button 

V)Copy all data from USB flash drive to your computer.

VI)Format the USB drive.

VII)And, copy all data back to the USB flash drive.

Now you are all done and your virus is fixed and there will be no shortcuts icons when you open your pendrives again.
